Bob Behnke is Franklin International’s Technical Service Manager for the Construction Division handling all technical aspects of the Titebond Branded product line of wood glues, construction adhesives, wood flooring adhesives and sealants. At Franklin Bob manages a group tasked with handling all calls to the company’s 800 number along with technicians tasked with testing of competitive products and new substrates. Bob has worked for over 30 years in the adhesives and sealants industry with experience in the development of emulsion polymers, scale up from bench to production of a range of adhesive technologies and development of breathable technology for organic and inorganic fabrics.

-A series of magnetic dust collection couplers in 4" and 2.5” to make the small shop more accessible to the dust collector without running ducting. 

Dust Bin Level Sensors

-A device that monitors the current level of your dust collector bin and alerts you when it is full.

Automatic Blast Gates

-A blast gate that automatically opens and closes when your tool is turned on and off.

DEMO – Learn to turn a pen - Mid South Woodturners Guild

Time: 9:30 am to 10:45 am (5 slots)

Time: 12:30 am to 1:45 pm (5 slots)

Cost: Free to MSWG members

Supplies: All provided

Tools: Provided or bring your own

Bring your own safety glasses and/or face shield.

Arrive 30 minutes early

For non-members:
Must be a member or join the

Mid South Woodturners Guild at a yearly cost of $40

(youth $15) to be paid at time of registration.

You will receive one-on-one training to make a wood pen from a kit and you will get to keep your first pen.

Club members receive a 10% discount card that can be used once a month for a year to The Woodwork Shop (some restrictions apply).

New memberships include monthly MSWG club woodturning meetings/demonstrations,multiple outside activities, and the experience of learning the art and craft of

woodturning for the remainder of 2024.

** For insurance reasons it is required

that you be a MSWG club member.

Jonathan Clouse has built calls for Delta Waterfowl and Ducks Unlimited. This year he was inducted into the Mississippi Wildlife Heritage Museum Call Makers Hall of Fame. This demo will show the fundamentals of turning a duck call, tools and materials, wood species, the art of tuning calls and how to use a duck call.
